He was a 32nd degree member of Scottish Rite of Free Masonry and was awarded the Golden Trowel for his Masonic work. He was past District Deputy and Grand Master of the 65th Masonic district. Adams was past worshipful master of the Glen Rose Masonic Lodge. Martin's Funeral Home in Cleburne is in charge of arrangements. Masonic burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery near Glen Rose. today at First Baptist Church in Glen Rose, where he was a member. Adams Sr., a retired carpenter, died Saturday at a Fort Worth hospital. Fort Worth Star-Telegram (TX) - April 25, 1994
